How are you able to get a better rate for me than my own bank?". Mortgage brokers are free because the bank pays the broker. A: As a mortgage broker, we're regulated by FICOM, which is run by the government of British Columbia, and helps regulate mortgage brokers. In additional, all brokers have to disclose how they are getting paid as well complete the sub-mortgage broker license by the University of British Columbia.


Q: Where do I start? Who should I contact first if I'm ready to buy a house?
